November 13, 2009 - As the Olympic Torch makes its way across the country on its 108 day journey towards the Opening Ceremony for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games on February 12, 2010 several Olympians will be carrying the flame including eight Cyclists.
In fact, given that this list was just released on this date two of our current National Team members, Erinne Willock and Seamus McGrath, have already carried the torch on Vancouver Island in the very first stages of the torch relay.
Following are the dates and locations where the Cycling Olympians participate in the torch relay:

- 31-Oct-09 - Colwood, BC - Seamus McGrath - 2008 Beijing / 2004 Athens
- 29-Nov-09 - Rimouski, QC - Pierre Harvey - 1984 Los Angeles / 1976 Montréal
- 8-Dec-09 - Châteauguay ,QC - Martin Gilbert - 2008 Beijing
- 20-Dec-09 - Hamilton, ON - Susan Palmer-Komar - 2004 Athens / 1996 Atlanta
- 20-Dec-09 - Niagara Falls, ON - Gordon Singleton* - 1980 Moscow
- 25-Jan-10 - Kaleden, BC - Ron Hayman - 1976 Montreal / 1972 Munich
- 5-Feb-10 - Brackendale, BC - Andreas Hestler - 1996 Atlanta
