July 28, 2010 (Albion Hills, ON) - Chico Racing is so proud of the trail improvements that have been made in 2010 that we are showcasing the 24 hour course at Albion on Wednesday, August 4. The approximately 16km group ride will start at 7pm led by Chico staff. Should bad weather be forecasted we’ll have a rain date of 7pm on Thursday, August 5. This will be purely informal, non-competitive group ride to preview our race course, however you need to remember:
1. You're responsible for your own park entry fee for the pre-ride ($6.50 for adults).
2. You're solely responsible for your own safety and should ride accordingly and should have a proper mountain bike in working order, helmet, hydration and decent singletrack bike handling skills.
3. You do not need to register for this ride, or be registered in the race, just show up. This is a great chance to get your friends, who might be on the fence, involved with our 24 hour events.
